Considering I used WordPress for this website, the wireframes were heavily influenced by the themes available. For this blog, I chose Astra as the theme andwent on to customize it so it fit the look and feel of the blog.
Design a blog for the best aquariums in Southern California. Develop the design in WordPress, customizing a theme to fit the look and feel of the blog.
The target audience for this website are individuals seeking to learn more about SoCal’s aquatic wildlife. More specifically, families with children or anyone who is an avid ocean lover and eager to learn.
The look and feel of this site has to clean and professional, it’s a blog but it is informative so I didn’t want to put any overwhelming animations or bright clashing colors.

Naturally,I immediately chose a dark navy blue as one of the colors for this site. However, I knew I needed some complimentary colors and decided to base my color palette off of the images I would use for the blog.
The Style Tile was straight forward, I had chosen my color palette from the images, chose a font, explored some button styles and typed out some key words that were to an important part of the website.
